Specific Parkinson's Services
Compassionate Assistance offers a variety of special services for individuals in our care. In addition to care specialized for Parkinson’s, we provide the following for our clients:
Companionship - At Compassionate Assistance, we find it incredibly important to offer companionship to our individual clients. We take immense pride in becoming not only caregivers, but close friends with our clients.
Medication reminders - Medication can be hard to administer and keep track of, but are very important. Our team is highly trained, and are meticulous in ensuring the correct medication is distributed at the right time.
Transportation - Having the opportunity to travel and being allowed to go outside greatly improves our clients’ moods and gives them a great feeling of independence. Caregivers can take clients to doctor’s appointments, the grocery store, or local senior centers.
Personal care - Our caregivers can provide assistance with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, eating, grooming, exercising, and other services, allowing individuals to remain independent in the comfort of their own home. Our caregivers can also help with simple housekeeping duties like dusting, vacuuming, bed-making, sweeping, laundry, and general household organization.
Meal preparation - Caregivers can shop for necessary supplies to cook healthy meals, as we believe meal preparation is an incredibly important part of patient care.
Our caregiving team will ensure all of these tasks are completed with special attention to your loved one’s Parkinson’s and the individualized care they will need.
